Abstract:

Sediment flux of cross-section of river is the function of discharge and sediment concentration,which is the most direct measure of river sediment characteristics.Along with the further implementation of the sediment total amount control system,transnational management to highlight the growing importance of sediment,it is the vital prerequisite for grasping the temporal and spatial distribution of river sediment cross-border flux and providing decision-making basis for treatment sediment.The sediment concentration and variation characteristics of flux are analyzed by combining water and sediment monitoring data in 1980 years of Xinjiang multiple rivers.Five flux estimation methods are used to analyze the influencing factors of sediment flux.The optimum method for flux calculation is obtained.
