Abstract:

This study aims to comprehensively evaluate the safety status of earth-rock dams.The seepage conditions of the earth-rock dam were calculated using the equivalent method in conjunction with Autobank software. The dam slope stability analysis and seismic safety evaluation were performed using the Bishop method. The results indicate that the maximum daily leakage of the dam accounts for only 0.25% of the total reservoir capacity, which is relatively low. Additionally, the infiltration line is below the design value, and the infiltration ratio drop at the escape point is within permissible limits, indicating no risk of seepage damage. The safety coefficients for anti-slip stability of both the upper and lower slopes exceed the minimum values specified in the regulations, confirming that the dam slope stability meets the required standards. These findings provide a scientific basis and technical support for the safety management and future maintenance of reservoir dams, ensuring the high-quality development of water conservancy projects.
